Christine Louise Small, 61 of Punxsutawney passed away, Friday, November 10, 2017 at UPMC Montifiore surrounded by her family. Christine was born February 12, 1956 in Franklin, PA. the daughter of Wilmer McQuown who survives and the late Alice (Smith) McQuown. On August 24, 1974 she married her husband David Small, Sr. who survives. Christine was a Registered Nurse for 31 years. She enjoyed her work and loved her patients and co workers who adored her. Her favorite things to do include sewing, being surrounded by her family and grandchildren and watching movies. In addition to her husband David she is survived by her son; David Small, Jr. and wife Denise of Worthville, grandchildren; Ala, Copeland, Graci, TJ and Patrick; great grandchildren; Jace, Breonah, Riley and Grayson; two brothers; Steve McQuown and wife Annette, Jim McQuown and wife Peggy, three sisters; Debbie Dobson and husband Cliff, Susan Kennedy and husband Terry and Mary Hoover and husband Leonard. In addition to her mother Alice, she was preceded in death by a daughter; Danielle Marie Small. Friends will be received from 5-7 pm, Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney where a funeral service will be held at 7 pm with Pastor Andy Cressman officiating.
