Dallas J. Pearce, 64 of Punxsutawney, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.

Dallas was born November 29, 1952 in Rossiter, a son of the late Claude L. and Francis C. (Bair) Pearce.

Dallas was a veteran of the US Air Force and the Pennsylvania National Guard.

He was a member of the Rossiter American Legion Post #0582 and the Punxsutawney Eagles. He loved time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, family, and friends.

Dallas is survived by his loving wife, Nancy F. (Uplinger) Pearce of Punxsutawney. They were married October 5, 1985.

In addition to his wife Nancy, he is survived by three sons; Lee Pearce, Tom Burkett of Punxsutawney, John Burkett and wife Shelly of Reynoldsville, two daughters; Robin Filler and husband Jim, Michelle Vandermark and husband Nick, all of Punxsutawney, seven grandchildren; Heather, Corey, Amber, Brady, Taylor, Alyssa, Jaydie, and 2 great-grandchildren; Emma and Kennadi. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters.

Friends will be received from 2-8 pm Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.

A military service will be accorded at by the Rossiter American Legion at 1 pm Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the funeral home.
