G. Eleanor Newlon, 93 of Boca Raton, FL., and formerly of Mahaffey, passed away Friday, September 22, 2017. Eleanor was born in Mahaffey on September 13, 1924 to the late Isaac and M. Catherine (Breth) Bennett. Eleanor was a graduate of Mahaffey High School. She attended three years of Missionary Training at Nyack Bible Institute in New York. Eleanor retired from Standard Oil of Cleveland, OH. She is survived by a twin sister; Catherine James of Boca Raton, FL., a sister; Marion Owens of Clearfield and numerous loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Richard Newlon and two brother's; Earl and Isaac Bennett, Jr. The family will received friends on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 11:30 until 12:30 pm at the Babione-Kraeer Funeral Home, 1100 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL. Entombment will follow at Boca Raton Mausoleum. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm at St. Andrews Estates, Boca Raton, FL.Eleanor will be forever remembered for being loving, tender and compassionate. Local arrangements are under the direction of the Waldron Funeral Home in Mahaffey.
