Jane S. "Beaty" Byerly, 94 of Worthville, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Byerly was born February 25, 1923 in Worthville, a daughter of the late Reed and Elizabeth (Caylor) Smith.

Jane was a member of Coolspring United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, embroidery, and gardening. She was also a member of the Eastern Star in Brookville.

She is survived by three brothers; Andy Smith (Lola) of Worthville, Bob Smith (Shirley) of Sprankle Mills, Reed Smith (Janice) of N. Tonawanda and one sister; Georgiann Geist of Rochester. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Chester Byerly, and three sisters; Gladys Smith, Marion Snyder, and Marjorie Johnson.

Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the McCabe Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, March 17, 2017 at the funeral home.

Interment is private for family.
