Judith A. Bracken Shanefelter, 58, of Latrobe died Thursday September 15, 2016 in Excela Latrobe Hospital. She was born April 9, 1958 in Latrobe a daughter of William C. Bracken Sr. of Derry and the late Jackie Cronin Bracken.

Judy was catholic by faith. She owned and operated the Diamond Cafe in Ligonier and had previously worked as the dietary manager at Oak Hill Nursing Home. She loved animals, people, gardening, flowers, and most of all her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother she was preceded by an infant son and a brother William C. Bracken Jr.

Judy is survived by her husband Dave Shanefelter, her son Michael J. Leonard of Marietta, GA, her daughter Jamie Camilli (Shawn) of Latrobe, her sister Joyce Reffo (Pete) of Derry, her brother Joseph Bracken (Betsy) of New Derry, sister in law Toni Bracken of Derry, 4 grandchildren; Gaige and Kyra Camilli, McKenna and Allison Leonard. Several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Friends will be received Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry where a blessing service will be conducted Monday at 11am. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Church Cemetery.
