Julia A. Kozar, 76, formerly of New Derry died Sunday December 10, 2017 in the Loyalhanna Care Center with her family at her side. She was born February 27, 1941 in Millwood the daughter of the late George and Catherine M. Gruska Kozar.

Julia was a member of St. Martin's Roman Catholic Church of New Derry. She was retired from Latrobe Area Hospital where she had worked in the dietary department for many years. Julia was a loving and caring person who always was doing for others. She was a devoted animal lover.

She is survived by her brothers George J. Kozar (Liz) of Loyalhanna and Ronald J. Kozar of Latrobe. Nieces and nephews; Georgine Baroni (Gary), Lisa Mentch (Joshua), Michael Kozar (Renee), Steve Kozar (Sherry), Gregory Kozar (Sandi) andDennis Kozar (Reyne). Several great nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 4-8pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry. A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10am in St. Martin's Church New Derry with Father Salvatore R. Lamendola as celebrant.

Interment will follow in the St. Martin's Church Cemetery.
