LeRoy Fye, 98, of Reynoldsville passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Highland View Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Brockway. LeRoy was born May 26, 1919 in Reynoldsville to the late Clarence and Carrie Fye. He was a WWII Veteran serving in the US Navy. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Reynoldsville. LeRoy owned Fye Electric for many years and was the Electrical Inspector for the area before retirement. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors when he could and hunting was his passion. Leroy is survived by one daughter; Betty Fye, two grandson's; Tom Gilbert and wife Maureen and Ted Gilbert and wife Cherie. Seven great -grandchildren; Lexie Trude and Brittany and Isabel Gilbert, Alec Crawford, Meridith Selby and Lydia and Everett Gilbert. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one grandson; Seth Gilbert, one daughter; Judi Gilbert, four sisters and eight brothers. Friends will be received from 4- 7 pm Friday, January 19, 2018 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney where a funeral service will be held at 7 pm with Pastor Thomas Carr officiating.
