Mary L. "Mary Lou" Miller, 82 of New Derry died peacefully on February 5, 2017 at Excela Westmoreland Hospital after a brief illness. She was born on April 26, 1934 in Bradenville, a daughter of the late William and Bertha Irene Frye Lint. Mary Lou was retired from Torrance State Hospital where she was employed as a medical technologist. Previously she was employed for many years at both MDS labs and Latrobe Area Hospital. Mary Lou was a 68 year member of the Bradenville United Methodist Church where she remained very active until her passing. She enjoyed baking, sewing, gardening, playing cards and chatting with friends and family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Wayne "Huck" Miller, a son Craig Miller, two sisters; Iva Funk and Erma Downs. Three brothers; Roy "Bud" Lint, William Lint and Earl Lint.

MaryLou is survived her three loving children; Faith and her husband James Workman of Homer City, Keith Miller of Summerville and Fawn and her husband Dr. David Pernelli of Millville, NJ. Nine grandchildren; Benjamin, Randall, Fawn, Chris and Stephen Miller, James Workman, Mandy Smen, Kyle and Ryan Pernelli. Eleven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 2pm in the Bradenville United Methodist Church. (Everyone please go directly to the church)

Interment will follow in the Coles Cemetery, Derry.
