Mary Morrell McCleary Adamson, 82, of Derry, passed away Sunday August 21, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 26, 1933 in Smithdale a daughter of the late Ernest and Isabelle Moore Morrell.

Mary was involved in Derry Midget Football. She loved flea markets, her dogs, flowers, music and had sung professionally.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Paul A. McCleary, a daughter Deborah Lynn, a son Thomas Keith, a grandson Ernest McCleary III and a sister Josephine Bush.

Mary is survived by her husband James M. Adamson, 2 daughter's Elizabeth Cmar (John) of Wellington, FL and Sharon Jones (Jason) of Derry, 3 sons; Ernest McCleary (Renee) of New Alexandria, Michael R. McCleary (Vicki) and William McCleary (Traci) all of Derry. Step children; Craig Adamson (Jennifer), Joy Hall (Jack) and Sean Adamson (Sonia) all of Cleveland, OH and Jill Shell (Arnie) of Lehigh Acres, FL.  Her sister Ada Schirf ((Ronald) of Indian Lake,14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Monday from 1-4 and 6-8pm and Tuesday from 9-11am in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry, where a service will be conducted Tuesday at 11am with the Reverend Paul Wilson officiating.
