Dear Mrs. Pearce and Family:
Ch Pearce was the first chaplain I worked with when moving to OH. It was my honor and privilege to know him. I have worked with numerous chaplains in my 32 yrs. of service. He stood out at the top.
May God shower His many blessings upon you and your family in the days to come.

Joe was a superb Pastor and an even better person. He was always a joy to encounter and his honesty and humor were great counter-points to one another. Lois and family, we know you will deeply miss your husband and father. God bless and strengthen you; we are praying for you. Another friend joins the "cloud of witnesses."

Deepest sympathies to Joe's family and all his congregation members through the years for your immense loss.
Even back in 1960, Joe knew his calling was with God and the ministry. All who knew him were blessed with his presence.

Our deepest sympathy Mrs. Pearce. He was one of the great Pastors, a true man of God who lived his life to serve his Lord and Savior. Just to think of him now "Touring that City" in that song that you sang so many times. Rejoicing today in the presence of Jesus.
Much love to you
Lee and Carolyn

To the family of Joseph Pearce. I knew Joe for many years through the family's foster/adoption ministry at Children Services. Joe Pearce was such a wonderful person - I am so sorry to learn his passing. He touched the lives of many individuals, especially the children who absolutely adored him. He is now with the Lord and resting in peace. My sympathies are extended to all of his family and friends.

Psalm 116:15 = "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints."
We loved and appreciated Pastor Joe and his wonderful ministry for many years. Lois and Joe taught us so much by word, and by example. They showed us what a great parsonage family looks like. Pastor Joe will be terribly missed! So glad that this is just "until we meet again..." and NOT "Goodbye" ... Pastor Joe's ministry lives on in us!

Pastor Joe, has had a very positive impact on me and my family. After Pastoring in Massillon for over 10 years the standard I had to live up was What Would Jesus & Joe Pearce Do (Joe's first pastorite)? He & I had the honor of performing my daughter & Chad Taylor's wedding.
