Robert Scott Hemminger, 34, of New Derry, died Monday November 28, 2016 in Excela Latrobe Hospital. He was born October 6, 1982 in Latrobe a son of Robert W. and Nancy G. Long Hemminger of New Derry.

Scott worked for Castle Co-packing in Latrobe. He was a good-hearted, fun loving and hard working son, brother and father. He loved watching the steelers and had a shoe obsession.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughter Brylee Hemminger and a step-daughter Haylie Ruby. A brother Joshua Hemminger (Jamie McMillan) of Cooperstown, 2 sisters; Kala Kiser (Justin) of Derry and Samantha Hemminger (Darren Hreha) of East McKeesport. 2 nieces, 2 nephews, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends will be received Thursday from 4-7pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry, where a service will be conducted Friday at 10am.
