Ronald R. Hixson, 79, of Derry died peacefully Saturday March 25, 2017 at his home in Derry Twp. He was born October 3, 1937 in Tarrs a son of the late Ray and Kathryn Mentzer Hixson.

Ron was a US Navy Vietnam Veteran. He retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons where he was a medical administrator. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren unconditionally.

Ron is survived by his loving wife Clara Fennell Hixson. His two daughters; Theresa Laflin (James) of Frankfort, IN and Lisa Demase (Joseph) of Sachse, TX.

His son Ronald P. Hixson (Melinda) of Sachse, TX, three brothers; William Hixson of Cranberry, Charles Hixon of Ruffsdale and Gary Hixson (Susan) of Ruffsdale. 3 Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

All services will be private as per Ron's wishes.
