Rose M. Brink, 86 of Punxsutawney, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016 surrounded by her family at Mahoning Riverside Manor.

Rose was born January 30, 1930 in Rossiter, a daughter of the late Fred and Lucinda (Smyers) Serian.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John S. Brink on March 26, 2014.

Rose was a homemaker for most of her life but worked for several years years in Cleveland. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and a devout Christian. She had numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved and adored and two special nices; Stacey Love and Heather Kunselman.

She is survived by one daughter; Kathleen Deters and Fiance; Tom Stansbury of Punxsutawney. Three brothers; Samuel Serian and Nancy Verdill of Rossiter, Thomas L. Serian and wife Sue of Port St. Lucie, FL. and Dennis Serian of Pompano Beach, FL. and Punxsutawney, two grandchildren; Lisa Deters, Tyler Deters and Fiancee' Catherine Robinson  of Cincinnati and great granddaughter; Talia.

In addition to her husband John, she was preceded in death by two infant children; John Brink and Zetta Lee Brink.

Friends will be received from 1:30 -3:30 pm Tuesday, August 2, at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney where a funeral service will be held at 3:30 with Joe Buterbaugh officiating.

Private interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
