Theresa L. "Terri" Kent, 60 of Hamilton, passed away July 1, 2017 at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

Terri was born on June 21, 1957 in Homer City, a daughter of the late George and Delores Barney.

She enjoyed being in the outdoors, camping, her animals, and living by the water. She also enjoyed reading her cook books and watching the cooking channel.

Theresa is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Ronald O. Kent. They were married on April 24, 1982.

In addition to her husband, Theresa is survived by one brother; Rich Barney of Homer City, one sister; Diane Doyle of Homer City, two sisters-in-law; Debra Kent (David Reddinger) of Punxsutawney, Karen Burkett-Kenny (Joe) of Punxsutawney, nieces and nephews; Billy Black, Kelly Smith (Eddie),Matthew and Nathan Barney and Caleb Thomas.

Friends will be received from 1-3 pm on Monday, July 3, 2017 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney, where a funeral service will follow at 3 with Joseph Buterbaugh officiating.
