Vinzenzene "Ging" Proietti Matteo, 101, of Derry died peacefully Sunday January 15, 2017 in Ligonier Gardens surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 21, 1915 in Derry, a daughter of the late Joseph and Tereasa Firovanti Proietti.

Ging was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church of Derry and the Altar Rosary society. She had been very active at the church over the years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Louis Joseph Matteo in 1984.

She is survived by her son Richard Matteo, her daughter Joan Berenbrok (David), three grandchildren; Matthew Matteo, Lauren Jackson (Carl) and Alaina Csensich (Karl). Five great grandchildren: Mia, Madison and Scott Jackson. Emma and Karl David Csensich.

All services and interment in the St. Joseph Cemetery will be private.
