Virginia A. Hirschinger, 89, formerly of Bethel Park died Monday May 23, 2016 in Crest Personal Care Home in NewAlexandria. She was born May 28, 1926 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Kowalchek Urbanic.

She was a former parishoner of St. Valentine's Roman Catholic Church in Bethel Park.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William and her daughter Barbara A. Liptak.

Virginia is survived by her grandaughter Diana Scott-Thomas (Carl) of New Alexandria, two great grandsons Walter and Brian Scott. Several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-7:30pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry. A blessing service will be conducted at 7:30pm in the funeral home.

Private interment will be made in Jefferson Memorial Park.
