Zane R. Yenerall, 88, of New Derry, died January 17, 2017 in Greensburg. He was born November 27, 1928 in New Alexandria a son of the late Daniel and Mary Adams Yenerall. Zane was a loving father, brother, and grandfather and great grandfather. He proudly served his country in the Korean War in the Army division from 1947 to 1951 and has been a member of the Latrobe American Legion for 55 years. He retired from Adam Eidemiller Co. and Smith Co.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Gladys Thomas Yenerall and his brother Clair Yenerall.

He is survived by his; sister Mary Dibert of Delmont; brother-in-law Carl Thomas of Derry; daughter Donna Dolan and son-in-law Lawrence Dolan of Greensburg; daughter Yvonne Phillips and son-in-law David Phillips of New Alexandria; and son Zane D. Yenerall and daughter-in-law Cindy Yenerall of Greensburg. Zane is also survived by 9 grandchildren; Rhonda Kvocak and her husband Josh Kvocak of Murrysville; Renee' Ryan and her husband Chris Ryan also of Murrysville; Amy Merlo of Pittsburgh; Daniel Phillips and his wife Katie ; Greg Phillips, all of Olney, Maryland, Logan Yenerall, Lucas Yenerall, Max Newmyer, and Luke Newmyer ( Crystal Pershing) all of Greensburg. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; Joey and Ben Kvocak; Leah and David Merlo, Cameron and Penny Ryan, Jack and Eva Phillips, Kayda Newmyer, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Thursday from 4-9pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 West Third Avenue, Derry, where a service will be will be conducted Friday at 11am with Reverend Rhea Summit officiating. Interment will follow at Coles Cemetery in Derry.

The Latrobe-Derry Veterans Honor Guard will conduct a military service Friday at 10:50am in the funeral home.
