Barbara M. Peffer, 75 of Marion Center, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Moorehead Place in Indiana.

Barbara was born June 12, 1942 in Indiana, a daughter of the late Ralph J. and Mabel R. (Ruffner) Peffer.

She attended the United Methodist Church of Marion Center. Barbara was a nurse for thirty four years and worked thirty years for Citizens Ambulance. She was also a Life Member of the Marion Center Volunteer Fire Department.

She is survived by two brothers; Harvey R. Peffer (Marjorie) of Indiana, Ralph Peffer (Lu Vera) of Home, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.

Additional viewing will be held from 10-11 am on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the funeral home, where a service will follow at 11 am with Rev. Bruce Gearhart officiating.

Interment at Mahoning Union Cemetery in Marchand is private.
