Berta "Bert" Jaeger Sehring, 82 of Blairsville, died Sunday September 17, 2017 in the Greensburg Care Center. She was born October 18, 1934 in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, Germany the daughter of the late Richard and Anna Geier Jaeger.

Bert loved to cook, garden and clean house.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William A. Sehring Jr.

She is survived by hers sisters; Erika Knight of Bismarck, ND, Gertrude Followell of Wichita, KS and Elfriede Cook of Great Falls, Montana. Good friends Scott and Tina Kutzer of Latrobe, several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Friday from 2-3pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry where a service will be conducted at 3pm. Interment will follow in the Coles Cemetery, Derry.

A reception will be held at Sharky's Cafe following the interment.
