Carolyn Piper Obituary

Carolyn Y. Piper, 63, of New Derry, died Monday November 19, 2018 in Excela Latrobe Hospital. She was born November 22, 1954 in Henagar, Alabama a daughter of the late Thomas and Virginia Koger Hayes.

Carolyn was a member of the Derry First United Methodist Church and had worked at the Latrobe Care Center.

She is survived by her loving husband Kevin A. Piper, her brother Tommy Hayes (Melba) of Ringgold, GA mother-in-law Mary Piper, 2 brother-in-laws Ray and Scott Piper and her beloved dog Buddy.

Friends will be received Friday from 2- 4 and 6-8pm at the McCabe Funeral Home 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry where a service will be conducted Saturday at 11am with the Reverend Paul Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the Coles Cemetery, Derry.
