Daniel V. Albaugh, 62, of Latrobe died Tuesday February 20, 2018 at his home. He was born June 12, 1955 in Latrobe a son of the late Howard E. Albaugh and Marjorie Harr Blystone.
Dan was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the Marines, operated his own towing and mechanic business and was fond of Harley's and his 68 Chevelle. He had been a firefighter for many years.
He is survived by his loving wife Cathy Nemcheck Albaugh, a son Daniel V. Albaugh Jr. (Sheila) of Latrobe, his daughters Wendy Ann Mattia (Mark) of Donegal and Cristy Schmidtetter (Joshua) of Derry. A step son Chad Ghrist, 3 brothers; Robert Albaugh (Patty) of Seward, William Albaugh and Jeffrey Albaugh (Robin) all of Latrobe. Three sisters; Janet Smith of Greensburg, Debbie Henderson of Whitney and Lisa Albaugh of Fairmont, WV. 11 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Thursday from 4-7pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry where a service will be conducted Friday at 10:30am.

Private interment will be made in Unity Cemetery.
The Latrobe-Derry Veterans Honor Guard will conduct a service Friday at 10am in the funeral home.
The family will accept donations in lieu of flowers.
