Donald L. Miller Sr., 71 of Blairsville died Friday February 23, 2018 in the Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. He was born August 18, 1946 in Latrobe a son of the late Donald E. and Elaine Marks Miller.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter in law Irene Bialas Miller and 2 brother in laws; John Fircetz and Ronald Beeman Jr.

Don was a USArmy Vietnam Veteran. He formerly worked at Latrobe Aero Die Casting.

He is survived by his wife Mary Kunkle Miller, his daughter Laurie Shawley (David) of Blairsville, a son Donald L. Miller Jr., two sisters; Kim Beeman of Derry and Sandy Fircetz of Latrobe. Four brothers; Larry, Terry and Keith Miller (Sharon) all of Latrobe and Brian Miller (Dorothy) of Omaha, Nebraska. Eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 6-8pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry.

There will be a Craft and Vendor show in memory of Don March 3, 2018 from 10-4pm at the Blairsville VFW 9626 Old William Penn Highway, Blairsville.
