John M. "Butch" McInchok, 92, of Ligonier, died Thursday August 3, 2017 in the Bethlen Home, Ligonier. He was born August 10, 1924 in Derry a son of the late Steve and Catherine Leachman McInchok.

Butch was a long time member of Holy Trinity Church in Ligonier. He was a WWII U.S Army Sergeant having served in the Philippines. He had worked for several local lumber companies. He enjoyed going for car rides and watching football.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his three brothers; Billy, Joseph and George "Sonny" McInchok; two sisters Mary Ann Repko and Catherine Falkosky; a grandson Nathan McInchok.

Butch is survived by his loving wife Mary (Laurenzio) McInchok, his son John (Debra) McInchok of Ligonier, two daughters; Nancy (Larry) Hauger of Johnstown, Michele "Mickey" Clark of Ligonier, one sister Betty Mulheren, 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Monday August 7 from 4-8pm at the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry where a blessing service will be conducted Tuesday at noon with the Reverend James F. Petrovsky. The Derry-Latrobe Veterans Honor Guard will conduct a service Tuesday at 11:50 am in the funeral home.
