Victor Burkhart Obituary

Victor W. Burkhart, 91, of Derry died Tuesday February 27, 2018 in Excela Latrobe Hospital. He was born January 4, 1927 in Baggley a son of the late William and Edna Piper Burkhart.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Edward A. Burkhart and a sister Mildred Ritenour.

Vic is survived by his wife Doris I. Dunmire Burkhart, his brother Donald Burkhart (Viola) of Latrobe, his sister Ruth Wilford of Blairsville, sister-in-laws; Mary Palmer (Ted) and family of Derry and Barbara Gould and family of Mechanicsville, Maryland. Several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Friday from 1-3pm at the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry were a service will be conducted at 3pm.

Private interment will be made in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana,PA.
