Victor F. "Vic" Sinemus, 74, of Derry died unexpectedly Friday June 16, 2017 in Excela Latrobe Hospital. He was born September 28, 1942 in Derry

a son of the late Herman and Mary Gamble Sinemus.

Vic was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Derry. He had proudly served his country in the US Air Force. Vic retired after 36 years of service from the Derry Construction Co. His passion's in life were family, friends and farming. He was known as a hard honest worker and willing to do anything for others.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving daughter Vicki Lynn Sinemus, four sisters; Florence Sinemus, Frances H. Olson, Anna Mae Yordy and Mary Edna Neighly; and one brother Herman Sinemus.

Vic is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Kathleen "Cass" Kitchen Sinemus, his son David V. Sinemus (Sheri), two grandchildren Karli and Kyle Holmes. Two sisters; Rose Planinsek of Youngstown and Linda Deal (Larry) of Torrance. Three brothers; Lewis Sinemus of Ligonier, Lonnie Sinemus (Judy) of Derry and Ronald Sinemus (Linda) of Latrobe. Several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 and 6-8pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry where a service will be conducted Tuesday at 11am. Interment will be private.
