Amy Renee Shipley

Amy Renee Shipley, 45, of Ligonier, was found at rest on Tuesday September 17, 2024 in Cook Township. She was born March 27, 1979 in Latrobe the daughter of the late Elgie R. Shipley and Margaret "Peg" Brant Klotz.
Amy had worked as a health care provider for many years and was known for having a "free spirit" with a contagious laugh. Many of the things that she enjoyed were her grandchildren, Frogs, Sloths, the beach, Mountain Dew, onions, animals and being a friend to all.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Walter M. Brant, her paternal grandparents Charles K. and Bertha M. Anderson Shipley, along with her uncle Walter M. "Sonny" Brant.
She is survived by her son Devin Hartman (Kylee Buterbaugh) of Stahlstown, grandchildren; Braxtyn and Brynlee, maternal grandmother Nancy Queer Brant of Ligonier and special family members; Terry Starrett, John Klotz, Kelly Otterson, Erin Shumbat, Christopher and John McClinton, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends will be received Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 144 East Main Street, Ligonier. Private interment will be made in the Ligonier Valley Cemetery.
