Brian Kuzemczak Obituary

Brian Edward Kuzemczak, 67 of Derry passed away Monday December 9, 2024, at his home after a short battle with cancer. Brian was born in Latrobe January 12, 1957, to the late Joseph and Gertrude (Belfield) Kuzemczak. He Retired from GBC in Latrobe after 35 years as the head of the maintenance department and recently employed by TSI Titanium in Derry as a part time maintenance employee.  In addition to his parents Brian is preceded in death by his sister in law Cookie Kuzemczak, his brother in law Dell Halferty, his father in law Lee Halferty, and his niece Ashton Kuzemczak. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Kathy (Halferty) Kuzemczak of Derry, his two adoring sons Brian Kuzemczak (Angela) of North Andover, MA, and Tyler Kuzemczak (Elyse) of Latrobe. He has three adoring grandchildren Rome Geoffery Dell Kuzemczak, Aurora Emmalina Leigh, And Greyson Michael Kuzemczak, two brothers Michael Kuzemczak of Derry and Joe Kuzemczak of Blairsville, a sister Debbie Kuzemczak of Derry. Sister-in-law Mrs. Jennie Mcginnis (Bob) two special nieces Sara Halferty, and Sierra Kuzemczak. Also survived by several nephews. Brian was a member of the Derry Rod and Gun where he has an endless amount of friends and Derry Ukes.  Brian was an avid fisherman and enjoyed his many trips with his fishing crew to Erie. Brian loved bowling, dancing, Gardening, being outdoors, golfing but mostly spending time with family and friends. He never met a stranger. He was known for his sense of humor and making everyone laugh.  Family will receive friends Friday December 13, from 4 - 7 PM in the McCabe Funeral Home, Derry.  Online condolences may be made at mccabefuneralhomespa.com
