Bruce A. Laughlin

Bruce A. Laughlin, 72 of Derry, passed away June 7, 2025, in the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. He was born August 1, 1952, in Latrobe a son of the late Donald and Doris Newell Laughlin. Bruce was a 1971 Graduate of Derry Area High School. He was an electrician by trade and loved to fish and watch the Steelers, Penguins and Pirates. Bruce was a talented musician and played the bass guitar for several bands in his earlier years including the 69th Battalion, Mr. Wrinkle, BeefBone Barbeque and Spellbound. He was a member of the Derry R&G Club, White House Club, Cooperstown Club and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Bruce is survived by his siblings Donna Bures of Blairsville, Jeffrey (Sue) Laughlin of Greensburg, Vicki (Byron "Bud") Smith of Derry and Kristine (Rick) Woodard of Sparta WI, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bruce is preceded in death by an infant sister Sharon and a brother-in-law David M. Bures.
