C. Marlene Smith

C. Marlene Smith, 71, of Ligonier, died Tuesday April 7, 2026 at IHS Westmoreland Hospital. She was born July 29, 1954 in Latrobe a daughter of the late Donald W. and Delcie Marie Butler Smith.
Marlene was a member of the Ligonier Valley Heritage Methodist Church. She always enjoyed walking through Ligonier stopping at all of the stores, running errands and calling everyone "T". Camping, fishing, playing Skiball, being a sports fan and playing kickball with her nieces and nephews were things that brought her much joy.
She is survived by her brother Donald W. Smith (Sherry) of Ligonier, her sister Linda Daignault (Robert) of Lebanon, Ohio, nieces Colette Jackman (Fred), Melissa Webb (Chuck), Amanda Miller (Jaison), Celeste McGinness and Gabrielle Daignault, nephews; Shawn Smith (Jenae), Todd Daignault (Jen), Kane Daignault (Emily) and John Bertolotto (Robyn), several great and grand nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Thursday April 9, 2026 from 11-1pm at the McCabe Funeral Home, 144 East Main Street, Ligonier where her service will be conducted at 1 pm with the Rev. Dr. Ron Geisler officiating. Interment will be made in the Ligonier Valley Cemetery.
