Carl Robert Jones

Carl Robert Jones, 90, of Ligonier, passed away Wednesday April 15, 2026 at Hempfield Manor in Greensburg. He was born September 23, 1935 in South Fork the son of the late William and Burris Fessler Jones.
He had worked for Harris Boyer Bakery in Johnstown and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Carl is survived by his loving wife of sixty-nine years Mildred Paulovich Jones, his children; Steven Jones (Cheryl) of Charleston, WV, Carl Jones (Susan) of Ligonier, Terry Jones of Raleigh, NC and Rebecca Jones of Bethany Beach, DE, grandchildren; Aaron, Adam (Kia), Emily, Connor and Sydney Jones, Ashley Bard (Scott), Brittney Brown (Drew), Kacie Chmiel (Chris) and Ty Lakin (Lindsey) along with ten great grandchildren.
Friends will be received Friday April 17, 2026 from 4-7 pm at the McCabe Funeral Home, 144 East Main Street, Ligonier where his funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 11 am with the Rev. Dr. Ron Geisler officiating.
Private interment will be made in the Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown.
