Charles R. Thomas

Charles (Chuck) Ralph Thomas, 74 of Derry, passed away peacefully at home on October 28, 2024. He was born April 29, 1949 in Lake Placid, New York, a son of the late Charles and Beverly Lane Thomas of Derry. Chuck graduated from Blairsville High School class of 1967 and served in the United States Navy from 1967 to 1971. Chuck owned and operated a dental lab in Reno, Nevada prior to his relocation to Pennsylvania.  Chuck is survived by his partner Marty Piper of Derry and his three children, Douglas, Sarah and Cicely, all from Seattle, Washington.  Chuck also leaves behind four siblings, Karen (Thomas) Matteo, Scot (Laurie) Thomas, Debra (Michael) Gerhard and Mark (Leah) Thomas. Chuck loved being outdoors, was generous to a fault and everyone’s friend. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. Services were private.

McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry was in charge of arrangements.
