Christopher James Ferry

Christopher James Ferry, 70, of Blairsville, died Monday May 20, 2024 at Beacon Ridge Nursing Facility, Indiana. He was born December 1, 1953 in Latrobe  the son of the late Elmer J. and Florence Fillmore Ferry.
He graduated from Derry Area High School and worked for many years at Blairsville Machine. Chris always loved to help his friends and neighbors by using his automotive skills to fix and maintain their vehicles. Going to NASCAR Races and antique car  shows were two of his favorite past times. He had a gentle disposition, was loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. 
Chris is survived by his loving wife Beverly Cravener Ferry, siblings; Pamela Hrovoski, Constance Gilmore, William Ferry and Jennifer Dablock, several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday June 8, 2024 at 3pm in the Blacklick Methodist Church, 36 Walnut Street.
