Clyde Miller Obituary

Clyde C. Miller, 85, of Latrobe died Saturday January 6, 2024 in the Bethlen Home, Ligonier. He was born June 24, 1938 in Latrobe a son of the late Clifford and Anna Baum Miller.
Clyde was a proud US Air Force Veteran having served from 1956 to 1960, a twenty-nine year employee of Westinghouse and was instrumental in helping to start Derry Area Ambulance Service. He held memberships to the Derry Rod & Gun Club, Tide Sportsman Club and the Latrobe Horseshoe Club. Some of the activities that he enjoyed were coaching the Derry Legion Baseball team, pitching horseshoes, hunting, fishing and camping.
In addition to his parents Clyde was preceded in death by his wife Thelma Edmundson Miller, his daughter Kelly Miller, a sister Judy Miller and two brothers Robert and William Miller.
He is survived by his grandson Justin Miller of Latrobe, a brother Orrin Miller of Corpus Christi, Texas, sisters; Karen Snyder (Bill), Doris Islami all of Traverse City, Michigan, Janet Haerring of Greensburg, Ruth Miller of Latrobe. his best friend Ruth Kiser and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Saturday January 13, 2024 from 12-2pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry
The Latrobe Derry Veterans Honor Guard will present a service at 2pm.
