David Banner Obituary

David John Banner, 66, of New Alexandria, died Tuesday April 9, 2024 at Independence Health System Latrobe. He was born November 14, 1957 in Latrobe a son of Linda David Banner of Ligonier and the late Donovan C. "Bub" Banner.
David was a loving father and son, providing unconditional support to his mother and sons. He passed down "work hard-play hard" and was an inspiration and great father to his sons. He had retired from Wilson Restoration as a bricklayer / mason. Going to "The Kamp" in Elk County, driving his quads and being an avid Pittsburgh Sports fan gave him great enjoyment in life.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his sons; Jayson D. Banner of Fraser, Colorado and Dylan J. Banner and his wife Stephanie Nix of Pittsburgh, two brothers; Donovan C. Banner Jr. (Carmen) of Ligonier and Daniel W. Banner (Roni) of Elizabeth, his sister Amy Whitcko (Jeff) of Russellton, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, one great nephew and one great niece.
Friends will be received Friday from 4-7 pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry.
