Donald Coy Rynders

Donald Coy Rynders, 85, of Derry passed away Wednesday December 25, 2024 at his home after a battle with Parkinsons Disease. He was born October 31,1939 in Springfield, Illinois a son of the late Albert and Wilma Allen Rynders.
Don was a US Air Force Veteran for over 28 years having been an Air Traffic Control Superintendent. He was an avid golfer who liked to shoot pool, watch all sports, and loved the Steelers and Penguins.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Celia M. Shrum Rynders on Dec. 24, 2016.
He is survived by his daughters; Sandra A. Rynders of Rio Vista, Ca, Kathleen A. Rynders,  Colleen D. Rynders and Mary M. Balega and her husband Charles A. Jr. all of Derry, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a brother and two sisters.
Friends will be received Thursday from 4-7 pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry where a service will be conducted Friday at noon. Interment will be made in the Unity Cemetery.
The Latrobe-Derry Veterans Honor Guard will present a service Thursday at 6:45 pm in the funeral home.
