E. Louise Landis

E. Louise Landis, 82 , of Derry passed away Tuesday October 10, 2023 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 16, 1941 in Derry , a daughter of the late Philip and Sylvia Dickson Nace.

Louise was a member of the Latrobe Presbyterian Church and liked to cook, bake, read, crochet, doing word search puzzles, card games and being with her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years William H. Landis on November 26, 2022 and two brothers Philip and Robert Nace.

She is survived by her loving children William and his wife Mary Bopp Landis of Derry and her daughter Belinda and her husband Roger Lynn of Latrobe, grandchildren; Karla Wing (Jarrod Fillmore), William Landis, Melissa Hollobaugh (Travis) and Joshua Landis (Sarah McGuckin), great grandchildren; James, Jaime and Jonathan Wing, Millie and Loretta Landis and Asher Hollobaugh. her brother Charles "Chuck" Nace and his wife Dorothy of Indiana, sisters; Mary Jane Needles of Milford, Delaware, Phyllis Hoffman, Norma Poole and Dorothy "Dot" Margey all of Latrobe, several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Thursday from 4-7pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry, where a service will be conducted Friday at 11am. Interment will be made in the Unity Cemetery, Latrobe.
