Edward R. Flowers Jr.

Edward R. Flowers, Jr of Ligonier, PA went to be with the Lord early Sunday morning August 29, 2021.  Born March 5, 1933, in Orangeville,OH.  Ed retired from MSA after a 21-year career as a machinist. He was a member of Heritage United Methodist Church in Ligonier. He was preceded in death by his father Edward R. Flowers his mother Cora Flowers Holler a brother Frank Flowers and a daughter-in-law Erin L. Flowers. He is survived by his wife of nearly 70 years G. Jane Flowers, three children Ronald, Gina Ziegenfus her husband Richard Ziegenfus, and Rex. Ed had three grandchildren Eric Shell (wife Tricia) of Green Sea South, Christopher Farrell of Hidden Valley, PA and Michael Farrell of Herndon, VA.  He had four great grandchildren Molly Farrell of Herndon, VA, Constance Shell, Jesse Shell, Tristan Shell, and Eric Shell JR all of Green Sea, South Carolina. One great great grand child Ivy of Green Sea, South Carolina  
There will be no visitation.  A private interment service will be held at Ligonier Valley Cemetery  with Richard Ziegenfus. Minister officiating.  The family ask that, bequests be made to Heritage United Methodist Church of Ligonier or Ligonier Valley Meals on Wheels.  Arrangements are under the direction of McCabe Funeral Home, Ligonier Online condolences may be made at mccabefuneralhomes.com
