Edward M. Laskoski

Edward M. Laskoski, 84 of Ligonier, passed away Thursday July 18, 2024 in the Westmoreland Manor.  He was born June 16, 1940 in Hempfield Twp., a son of the late Chester A. and Helen E. (Labor) Laskoski.  Edward owned and operated Laskoski Service Station for 55 years.  He was a Mason a member of the NRA and enjoyed deer hunting so much that he would count down the days to the first day of rifle season.  Ed is survived by his daughter Susan E. Laskoski-Smith (Scott) of Latrobe, two grandchildren Nicole L. Tiberi (Lawrence) of Ligonier and Lucas J. Younker (Carolyn) of Ligonier, three great grandchildren Landen Laskoski, Lincoln Tiberi and Charlotte Younker, one brother Walter R. Laskoski (Linda) of Bolivar and his beloved dogs Rosie and Sadie.
Ed is preceded in death by his wife Ruth (Roby) Laskoski and his parents.
Family will receive friends Monday, July 22 from 3 to 5 PM, in the McCabe Funeral Home Ligonier with a memorial service at 5PM in the funeral home with Rev. Dr. J. Paul McCracken officiating.  Private interment will be held in Ligonier Valley Cemetery.
