Edward J. Sheehy

Edward J. Sheehy, 71, of Latrobe, died Saturday October 18, 2025 at the Harmon House Health and Rehab Center in Mount Pleasant. He was born January 31, 1954 in Latrobe a son of the late Charles D. and Pauline Kerekesh Sheehy.

Ed was Roman Catholic by faith, had graduated from Greensburg Central Catholic High School and West Virginia University. He had worked in advertising sales for the Tribune Review and the Pittsburgh Press and Post Gazette. He had a great sense of humor and a caring nature for all.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers; Father Dennis E. Sheehy and Michael P. Sheehy.

He is survived by his brother Charles D. Sheehy and wife Phyllis, a sister- in- law Cynthia Bates, several nieces and nephews; Megan K. Sheehy Melucci (Nicholas), Molly M. Creenan (James), Colleen P. Sheehy DeGroot (Joseph) , Patrick Sheehy and Virginia Sheehy, great nieces and nephews; Daniel Melucci, Charleston DeGroot, Melissa Cox and Hunter Winters.

At his request all services were to be private with burial in the St. Vincent Cemetery.
