Elaine Cramer Obituary

Elaine Marie (Lukatch) Cramer, 74, of Derry, lost her long battle with cancer on Thursday January 18th 2024.  She was born February 5, 1949 in Wilpen a daughter of the late John and Sophie (Smyder) Lukatch.
Elaine is survived by her loving husband of over 53 years Cliff and her two daughters Paula (Lawrence) Shean of Derry and Kari Hirak (Jesse) of Cleveland TN, two grandchildren Jesse David Shean and Amillia Marie Hirak, and her brother James Lukatch (Kathy) of Latrobe. 
She was preceded in death by her siblings; Mary Jane, Betty Ann, John, Kenneth and Donald, step siblings Richard Darr and Beverly (Donald) Hutchinson and her mother's partner Leroy Darr. 
Born and raised in Wilpen she attended Ligonier Valley High School, was a member of the Derry Presbyterian church and had strong faith that never wavered even during her battles. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and taking care of her fur babies as well as camping.
She spent most of her life caring for everyone she knew from waiting tables to working in daycare.
Friends will be received Sunday from 4-7 pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry where a service will be conducted Monday at 11 am with the Reverend Larry Armstrong officiating. Interment will be made in the Lycippus Community Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Elaine requested  donations be sent to Action For Animals, 386 Rte 217, Latrobe, PA 15650 or an animal shelter of your choice.
