Elizabeth Lois Linsley

Elizabeth Lois Linsley, 92, of Miami, Florida, went home with Jesus on June 2, 2024. She was born August 25, 1931 in Grove City to Irish Immigrants Robert Charles Stanley and Sarah Jane Hutchinson Bower.
Lois was Irish to the core, raised Presbyterian, graduated from McKinley High School in Niles, Ohio and went on to receive an Associates Degree from Youngstown University. Over the years she wore many hats; mother, homemaker, secretary, friend, hair dresser, soloist, choral director, seamstress, baker, florist and business partner.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clayton Edward Linsley, a daughter Dorothy Elizabeth Linsley Patterson, and her brothers; Bob and Hugh Bower.
She is survived by her daughter Sarah Margaret Melcher (Michael) whom Lois lived with in Miami, son-in-law Charles Thomas Patterson (Connie), granddaughter Leslie Elizabeth Dahmen (Thomas "Toby") and grandson Robert Edward Patterson, two great grandsons; Eric Thomas and Cole Michael Patterson, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 4-7 pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry, where a service will be conducted Wednesday at 11:30 am with the Reverend Ronald Durika officiating. Interment will follow in the Unity Cemetery, Latrobe.
