Florence P. Moreland

It is with profound sadness and loss that we announce the passing of Florence Moreland of Ligonier on Tuesday August 12, 2025. She was born December 17, 1929 in Abington, PA to the late Adam and Jeannie Flacco D'Angelo. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Robert "Bob" Moreland, her children Bobby (Valerie), Paul and Diane Duvall (Mark), and her three handsome grandsons Max, Jackson and Adam.

"Flo" was a popular face around Ligonier as she worked in several of the restaurants and shops in town for many years. She enjoyed the people interaction and the satisfaction of a good days work so much, she didn't retire till the age of 79. She also enjoyed knitting and would bestow her works as gifts to her friends and family. Flo will always be remembered for her boundless energy, kindness and a "tell it like it is" sense of humor.

Per her request there will be no formal services.

If you would like to remember Florence, please donate a book to the Ligonier Valley Library as was her custom when one of her friends passed away. She will always live in the hearts of all that knew and loved her.
