James Will Sr. Obituary


James E. Will Sr. 91, of Latrobe passed away Saturday March 29, 2025.  He was born March 25, 1934 in Ligonier  a son of the late Henry Will Sr. and Gretta Nordstrom Will.
He is survived by his chlidren: Peggy Ann Patrick of Derry, Catherine L. Will of Baltimore, Paul W. Will of Sharon and Brian K. Will of Bradenville, a very special nephew/son Herbie Will, grandchildren; Christopher Patrick (Jessica) of Holidaysburg, John E. "LJ" Patrick  (Kimberly) of Derry,  Jason Patrick (Patricia) of Whitney, Johann D. Will of Baltimore and Shawnte E. Bell of Baltimore, nine great-grandchildren; Ashley Langer (Garrett), Amanda Patrick (Ryan), Allison Patrick, Brody Patrick (Katerina), Kayleigh Patrick, Jerry Patrick, Hannah Carmichael (Dave), Vanessa McMichael and Johann D. Will Jr., six great great grandchildren Amery, Silas, Millie, Madi, Parker and Paisley, a brother John Will (Anna Marie) Ligonier and two sisters; Shirley Kowatch (Don) of Ligonier and Carolyn Fincher of Latrobe.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Esther Shaulis Will, oldest son James E. Will Jr., a grandson Bruce Will, six brothers; Henry Jr., Robert, William, Donald, Herbert and Elmer Will, three sisters; Martha Carlson, Leona Miller and Eleanor Jones.
Jim had worked at US Steel National Tube in McKeesport for over thirty years. He loved to garden and travel with his wife to listen to Country and Blue Grass music.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 4-7 pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry where his service will be conducted Thursday at 11 am. Interment will follow in the Bethel Church Cemetery.
