Jamie S. Ray

Jamie S. Ray, 39, of Derry, died Sunday July 27, 2025 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born August 19, 1985 in Latrobe a son of Charles L. "Butch" and Mary Ann Bogle Ray of Derry. Jamie had worked at Torrance State Hospital until his recent illness. His pride and joy was his daughters Jacye S. and Kessa B. (He always loved doing something special for their birthdays) He loved going to Siesta Keys in Florida, Motor Cross and going to Vegas where he played cards in the World Series of Poker.

In addition to his parents and daughters he is survived by his brother Michael Ray (Heidi) of Latrobe, his sister Kristie Smith of Blairsville, his maternal grandmother Mary Bogle of New Derry, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and his canine friend Timber.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue where a service will be conducted Thursday at 10 am.

Interment will follow in the Coles Cemetery.
