Janet L. Jones

Janet L. Jones, 69, of New Derry, passed away July 13, 2023, in the Butler Independence Health System.  She was born August 9, 1953, in Latrobe a daughter of the late Eugene and Laura (Sullenberger) Miller.  Janet was a great wife and mother always willing to take care of her family.  She enjoyed playing bingo and going to casinos.  Janet is survived by her husband of 52 years Dwight A. Jones, her children Dwight Jones Jr. and wife Kelly of New Derry and Laura Johnson and fiance Kelly of New Derry and Tristan, step grandchildren Ashley and Gage Patchen, Nathan and Carly Horner, a brother Eugene Miller (Veronica), a sister Patricia Hubert (Drew) of Myrtle Beach SC, a brother in-law Gary Jones of Strangford, and a sister in-law Cindy Chismar (Jeff) of Derry, Aunt Ann and Aunt Betty, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.  Arrangements and burial in Coles Cemetery are private for family and under the direction of McCabe Funeral Home 300 West Third Ave Derry.
