Jenae Lauren Russel

It is with great sadness and loss that we announce the passing of Jenae Lauren Russel, 39, of Acme.  Jenae passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.  Jenae was born on March 24, 1986 in Latrobe.  She is the daughter of Kirk and Kimberly (Breniser) Russel of Acme. 

Jenae will be remembered for her love of holidays, her sense of humor, her kindness, and her ability to love without hesitation.  Jenae was always looking for the next great adventure or shopping trip.  She was always excited to spend time with her friends that she loved so much.

Jenae is survived by her parents, Kirk and Kim Russel of Acme; her grandmother, Constance J. Breniser of Acme; her sister, Jacqueline H. Brangard (Thomas) of Greensburg; her brother, Colin W. Russel of Acme; and her boyfriend, Jeff Ruff also of Acme.  She is also survived by Cooper and Winnie, her beloved canine companions.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Lawrence R. Breniser of Ligonier; and her paternal grandparents, Norman O. and Charlotte H. Russel of Mt. Pleasant.

A celebration of life will be held at the Donegal VFW Post 6743, 110 Veterans Lane, Jones Mills, PA 15646 on September 7, 2025 at 1pm.  Friends and family of Jenae are warmly invited to join in to celebrate her memory.
