Jessie L. Dixon

Jessie L. Dixon 93, of Millwood passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Thursday March 27, 2025.  She was born February 25, 1932, in Millwood, a daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Bertsch) Kelley.  Jessie enjoyed her big flower garden, bowling, dominoes and bingo.  She always wanted to be around her family, she is survived by her son Robin L. Dixon (Donna) of Hillside, her grandchildren Heather Burns (Tim) and Ross Dixon (Tania Asaro) of Laurel Mountain Boro. and a great granddaughter Mackenzie Eades and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents Jessie is preceded in death by her sisters Alice Koutsky, Edna Irwin, Virginia Garrison and Dorothy Thomas.  Her family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Concordia Ligonier Gardens for their love and support she received as a resident.  Also, to Concordia Home Health and Hospice of Bethlen for the compassionate care she received during her final days.  Arrangements are private and under the direction of McCabe Funeral Home, Derry.  Online condolences may be made at mccabefuneralhomespa.com
