John W. Karaschak Sr.

John W. Karaschak Sr., 80, of Bradenville, died Saturday January 11, 2025 at Independence Latrobe Hospital. He was born February 2, 1944 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky  the son of the late John L. and Carlean Flynn Karaschak.
John was a US Air Force Veteran and before his illness was employed by Smith Bus Company. He loved fishing, playing cards and spending time with loved ones.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-six years Louise.
He is survived by his four children; Sherry Dornauer (Scott), John W. Karaschak Jr. (Kelly), Lori Bolen (Randy) and Mike Karaschak (Stacey), six grandchildren; Robert and Melanie Lang, Justin Karaschak (Lauren), Carrie Ciocco (Jake), Zack and Ryan Karaschak and seven great grandchildren.
As per his wishes all services were to be private.
McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry was in charge of arrangements.
