John P. Keslar, 70, of Punxsutawney passed away Saturday June 13, 2026 at Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Donna L. Keslar (Heckendorn); his daughter Heather Keslar of Catonsville MD; 2 granddaughters Stella and Violet Skane also of Catonsville MD; and a half- brother Paul (Nancy) Keslar of Hubbard OH.
John was a 1974 graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School. At the time of his passing, he was a Bell Twp. Supervisor.
Johnny truly was one of a kind. What you saw, was who he was. Being a life-long truck driver, he never met a stranger. If you were fortunate enough to be a friend, you were a friend for life. He was what a friend should be, always there through the good and bad. He was generous to a fault and never had to be asked to help. His kindness and willingness to always lend a hand will be missed by many.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be a memorial service at a later date.
In accordance with his daughter, unlike Johnny’s stories, we are keeping this short and to the point. Love you Dad.
