Karen E. Andrews

Karen E. Andrews, 80, of Ligonier, died Wednesday January 29, 2025 at Independence Health Latrobe. She was born December 6, 1944 in Ligonier, the daughter of the late Harold J. and Doris E. Scott St.Clair.
She was a life long member of the Pioneer Presbyterian Church in Ligonier and her faith was an inspiration to her family. Since 1980 she and her husband turned a hobby into a full time job owning and operating Andrews Sales & Service in Ligonier. Karen was a dedicated wife and mother always putting family first and business second. She enjoyed singing and music having taught herself to play the piano and organ. Some of her greatest enjoyments came from visiting the Amish country in Ohio, sewing, animals and at one time belonging to the 4-H club and showing her animals at the county fair.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Robert St.Clair.
She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-eight years Samuel W. Andrews Jr., her daughter Susan Kim (Robert) of Bolivar, her son Samuel W. Andrews III (Amy) of Ligonier, a brother John St. Clair (Linda) of Snow, Oklahoma, sister-in-law Dorcas St.Clair of Latrobe; grandchildren; Nathan, Joshua and Emily Kim, Sarah Verna (Daniel), Jakob and Jared Andrews, several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Sunday from 1-4 pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 144 East Main Street, Ligonier. A funeral service will be conducted Monday at 10:30 am at the Pioneer Presbyterian Church with her pastor the Reverend David R. Kenyon officiating. Interment will be made in the Ligonier Valley Cemetery.
